The American Institute of Architects has approved Otis at Home as a provider for continuing education. The registered one (1) CEH credit course [OTIS10] is entitled:
RESIDENTIAL ELEVATORS: Planning-Code-Safety.
The one hour, face-to-face course, is presented by authorized Otis at Home dealers and can be provided conveniently at the architect's office. Course credit is eligible toward fulfillment of annual AIA continuing education requirements. The course will prepare attendees with critical planning information and will assist the design professional when incorporating the elevator into floor plans. The course offers highly effective planning techniques that avoid costly planning errors. The course is available to all architects and design professionals regardless of AIA affiliation.

Once again, Builder Magazine reported that Otis at Home residential elevator products out-scored other suppliers in key survey areas in an annual independent survey of homebuilders.
The 2011 survey concluded that Otis at Home scored highest in Brand Familiarity by home builders. Perhaps no surprise but the independent survey further revealed Otis at Home as 1st in the Quality Rating category. The company has outscored all other brands in this category since the survey began including residential elevators as part of the study.
